New Bern Airport (EWN): (50 minutes from Jacksonville). US Airways has daily flights to Charlotte and Delta has daily flights to Atlanta. You can catch a good deal there sometimes, so always check it.
Raleigh/Durham (RDU): (2.5 hours from Jacksonville). Usually cheaper that New Bern. Southwest flies out of Raleigh. If you don’t mind the drive, you will have more travel options and save some money.
Willmington (ILM): (1 hour from Jacksonville). This airport has direct flights to Orlando through Allegiant Air a couple of days a week. US Airways has direct flights to NYC, Philadelphia, and Charlotte, and Delta flies to Atlanta.
