Child Care Programs on Okinawa Japan

Baby Smile Okinawa: Great place to find a sitter for your kiddos. You can set up an interview with a simple phone call or email. The director may come to your house. She works off base as well as on base. You will find out which Maho-san will be assisting you and your family. Everyone that has used this service raves about it. Children, Youth and Teen Programs: Offers full time care, after school programs, hourly care and more.

Child Development Center (CDC): Offers childcare for children 6 weeks thru 5 years of age. Offers hourly care when space is available.

Family Child Care: Offers in home day care for your children ages 4 weeks thru 12 years.

School Age Care: Offers before and after school programs for children ages 5 thru 12 years.

Youth and Teen: Offers programs for youth attending K thru 12th grade.

Kadena Youth Center: This is a great place to take the kids for many classes. They offer clubs, dance lessons, gymnastics, etc. Check it out, you’re sure to find something to get involved in.

Youth Sports

Base Youth Sports: Semper Fit Youth Sports offering sports from baseball, basketball, cheer leading and soccer.

Skate Parks: There’s several skate boards around Okinawa: Courtney Skater’s Way,Foster Rampage, Hansen Truckstop Skate Park, Kinser Trickflips; and Schwab Sessions.
