Commissary: Open seven days a week. Opens daily at 9:00am. Monday-Fridays, closes at 8:00pm, Saturdays at 7:00pm, and Sundays at 6:00pm.
Exchange: Open seven days a week. Open Monday thru Friday 9:00am-8:00pm.
Home Store: No home store on Quantico, but there is a small selection of furniture at the Exchange.
Base Events: This base is great about planning things for spouses and your family. Most events are very family friendly.
Bowling Alley: 12 bowling lanes open seven days a week. Saturday and Sunday offers glow bowling. Wednesday evenings are crowded with Marines using the facility for their PFT time. This is a very small bowling alley with a limited snack area and no outside food is allowed. Discounts are given for Marines attending school on base.
Movie Theater: Admission ranges from $3 to $5. Kids 0-5 free.
Medal of Honor Golf Course: This historic golf course opened in the 1930’s and is still open. Golf seven days a week from 7:00am til dusk. Mulligan’s eatery at the golf course is open 10:00am-6:00pm weekly and Sat/Sun/Holidays from 7:00am-6:00pm. See booking policies at the link and please adhere to the dress code.
Boating: Small boats are allowed at the lake. No jet skis, water skiing, or swimming. Patrons must have a safe boater test certification from the base.
Lunga Park: Nestled along the lake with playgrounds and camping. Rentals are available including canoes and paddle boats. They are very RV friendly and just minutes from the base mail and The Basic School (TBS). (CLOSED CURRENTLY)
Marina: On the Potomac River. Storage is available as well as sailing lessons, boat rentals and more.
Semper Fit: Free personal trainers upon request. Personal Trainers are FREE! You get 3 free personal assessments and 30min in the gym with an assigned trainer. Once you are done with your 3 sessions then you are monitored once a month every month after. The gym also provides a calendar of multiple exercise programs including spin, aerobics, kickboxing and even dance classes. There is a nursery but is run by the parents. Open 2 times a day for 2 hrs. If you use the nursery for your children you will be responsible for watching the nursery kids at least once a month for 2 hrs. Nutrition classes are also available.
Adult Athletics: Racquetball lessons and mountain bike team along with road biking.
ITT Ticket Office: Located inside the PX. Get discounted tickets to Disneyworld, DC Museums, Sea World and more. Click for current price list. You can also sign your kids up for gymnastics and dance at this office.
Pools: There’s an Olympic sized swimming pool adjacent to the Clubs with a low and high dive, two water slides, and baby pool with slide. The pool can be reserved for functions or parties. Children under 3 are free, yearly passes can be purchased or daily fees apply.
Marine Corps Marathon: Are you a runner? This is one of the best marathons you can participate in, held in October. They have other seasonal races as well like the 10K Turkey Trot and Fun Run for kids of all ages.
The Clubs: The Officers Club, SNCO Club, and Enlisted Club all under one roof. The Marathon restaurant is open to all military and civilian personnel.
