Meriwether Landing is one of the newest military housing communities at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. It opened on Lewis North in 2025 and is managed by Liberty Military Housing. The neighborhood has more than 200 new-construction duplex and single-family homes near American Lake and Meriwether Elementary School.
Floor plans are assigned by rank. For example, a two-story duplex for E5-E9 families has four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, and about 1,977 square feet, while officer and senior enlisted plans range up to about 2,500 square feet. Homes include attached two-car garages, fenced backyards, private patios, laundry rooms, air conditioning, pantries, walk-in closets, and modern flooring.
Residents are close to five parks with playgrounds and have access to community center amenities, Liberty’s Little Libraries, and free monthly resident events.
